What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (E/RP) for OCD?
CBT is an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. For OCD, CBT often includes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), a structured approach that gradually helps you face feared situations and reduce compulsive behaviors. I provide CBT and ERP treatment for children, teens, and adults in Westchester, NY and across N.Y. state. Learn more about ERP here.

Do you treat children and teens with anxiety or OCD? Yes, I treat both. I provide evidence-based CBT and ERP therapy for children and adolescents experiencing anxiety disorders, OCD, phobias, panic symptoms, and related challenges. Treatment includes structured skill-building and collaboration with families to support progress between sessions.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy can be helpful for anyone experiencing OCD, anxiety, depression, or related challenges. During a free 15-minute introductory call, we’ll discuss your goals, answer your questions, and explore whether working together feels like a good fit. This ensures you feel comfortable before starting treatment.

How long does OCD or anxiety therapy usually take?
The length of therapy depends on your specific needs, goals, and the severity of symptoms. Many clients see progress within several months of structured, evidence-based CBT. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs, and I work collaboratively with you to develop actionable treatment plans for lasting change.
